About the blog

The Chic chez vous blog, a bilingual blog, is intended for people with loss of autonomy, caregivers, health professionals and anyone who wants to know more about aging or mental health. Its mission is to counter the stigma associated with age and mental health problems. It informs and educates readers about these two themes, in addition to giving voice to the elderly, people with mental health challenges and their loved ones. By giving them a voice, the blog is interested in their unique experience and wants to get them out of marginality. Faced with the issues raised, the writings aim to question the reader about the actions that could be taken from a societal point of view to improve the situation of the two target populations. Finally, from a humanist perspective, since many of the topics raised remain sensitive (e.g. mourning one's home), the author of the blog can offer support and comfort in her responses to comments made by readers.

Our team

Prunelle Bergeron

Passionate about writing since childhood, I draw my inspiration from my personal experience and I am open to what surrounds me. I like the writing to be clear and accessible. This is what makes my pen so strong.

Finally, I am interested in the situation of people with loss of autonomy and the adapted clothing sector given my professional experiences.

Enjoy reading the blog. Hope you will make new discoveries, and I look forward to sharing your thoughts online!
